Welcome to rozforalabama.com, operated by The Committee to Elect Rosilyn Houston ("the Committee," "we," "us," or "our") in support of Rosilyn Houston's campaign for Alabama State Treasurer.

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Use of This Site

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Use the site in any way that violates applicable law

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site, its servers, or connected systems

  • Interfere with or disrupt the site's operation

  • Use automated means to scrape, harvest, or collect information from the site

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information

  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization

2. Contributions

Contributions to the Committee are processed through ActBlue and are subject to ActBlue's own terms and privacy policy.

Contributions to political campaigns are not tax deductible.

By making a contribution, you certify that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age

  • You are a United States citizen or a lawfully admitted permanent resident

  • The contribution is made from your own funds, not those of another person or entity

  • You are not being reimbursed by any other person or entity for this contribution

  • The contribution is made using a personal credit or debit card in your own name, not a corporate or business account card

  • You are not a foreign national. Federal law prohibits contributions from foreign nationals in connection with any federal, state, or local election.

Contributions are subject to Alabama's Fair Campaign Practices Act, including its reporting and disclosure requirements. See our Privacy Policy for more on public disclosure of contributor information.

Contributions are generally non-refundable. If you believe a contribution was made in error, contact us and we will review the request.

3. Volunteer Sign-Ups

Our volunteer form is hosted by JotForm. By submitting it, you consent to the Committee contacting you about volunteer opportunities and campaign activities. Submitting the form does not create an employment relationship or entitle you to compensation. Volunteer activities are unpaid.

4. Text Messages

If you opt in to receive text messages, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of volunteering with or contributing to the campaign. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Intellectual Property

The content on this site — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, and design — is owned by or licensed to the Committee and is protected by copyright and other laws.

You may share and link to this content for the purpose of supporting the campaign. You may not use campaign logos, imagery, or materials in a way that suggests endorsement by, affiliation with, or authorization from the campaign without our written permission.

6. Third-Party Links and Services

This site links to and relies on services we do not control, including ActBlue, JotForm, Squarespace, the Alabama Secretary of State, and other campaigns and organizations. We provide these links for convenience. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site or service.

This site is provided "as is" and "as available." While we work to keep the information here accurate and current — including deadlines, dates, and voting information — we make no warranty that it is complete, accurate, or up to date.

Voting information on this site is provided for convenience only. For official information about registration, deadlines, absentee voting, and polling locations, consult the Alabama Secretary of State at sos.alabama.gov or your local Board of Registrars. Election rules and dates can change.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of this site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Alabama.
